Where do I start to make money online?

So you have decided to make money online, the question will be "where to start it?" Actually that was the question came up at my mind, and I must confess I had taken wrong approach. That's why today I write this post, as a log of my past mistake and I hope someone can gain information from this post and avoid to take the same route.

My past mistake.

The first time I tried to earn online I have mindset that I won't ever spend money, so I searched high and low any opportunity about making money on internet and found some. I did microjob, paid to click, get paid to sign up, and wasting a lot of my time to surf at traffic exchange for advertising my referer link to those sites. Some time i got downline, some not, but they were all ending up the same, stopped working after few moment after joining, it was so frustrating. Yes I earned a little, I won't deny it, but it just so small that I just feel shame if I think about it now. And then I decided to quit and working offline, just like everyone else.

Early this year I returned online,  I was surfing internet without purpose until I landed to some making money website. That picked my interest to earn online (again), but don't want to repeat my previous mistake and wasting my time again, so I was thinking to take a different route.

How to earn money?

Commerce has been proved working in generating wealth, then lets just follow the wave and take that route. The next question will be "If I want to sell, I must have something to sell right?". Fortunately there are plenty of products out there, so all I need to do is just pick one affiliate program and get serious to learn about it and start to advertise it. It does not matter what is the program, as long it pays and not something illegal or scam.

Advertise it!

The next step is to advertise our chosen product. Argh.. here we go again, I don't want to waste my time to keep advertising and when i stop doing that I will also stop my selling.  I want to waste my time to create something that will make my life easier on advertising. And then I realised something about blogger.

Bloggers are smart people!

I think bloggers are smart people. They actually realised one thing about Internet and use it for their advantage. They know where to keep their writing. What they have written on internet won't disappear, their writings will be saved safely on internet, waiting to be read by many eyes from every part of the world. And the best part is, like it or not, new people will keep coming and reading it, this is internet, new people will keep visiting and reading their writings for many years to come, even when they have stop writing. Imagine that! It's like unlimited viewers source for advertising! No? So if it so awesome, why don't we replicate it.

Start blogging.

It may take some time to start to have visitors, but one thing is clear, it won't be futile! It will increase gradually and when the time comes, advertising will be much easier. So it starts here, I will try to build my audience with blogging. This is one little step to start make money online. It is a process, but I am sure i am on the right track now.

How and what to blog?
I know it's hard to write something. especially if you are like me, jack of all trades master of none, but don't give up, because I don't! No.. really, I have no idea what to write but I won't make it complicated, I will just pick whatever comes to my head, start writing and fixing it later on. I think all we need to do just take action, start writing, don't think about the result, maybe it horrible, maybe it laughable, but who cares. We will get better eventually, we are human, we are designed that way. So.. stop thinking and start writing!

So thats it? blogging is the start to make money online?

For me YES, blogging is the start. It will be my foundation. Once I get enough visitors, advertising will be much easier and cheaper, cost-less even.  And more important, it's free to start!
