Blogspot is good blogging platform that gives you free services both hosting and domain. After a while maybe you want to move your blog to other address because it sounds better. Example, your old blog is "iamoldblog.blogspot.com" and then you move your blog to "iamnewblog.blogspot.com". This where the problem rises. You have to update all the links you have already posted, which is very painful, especially if you have many links within your blog. You will be forced to check each post whether they contains any link or not.

Ok here another example just to make it clear if somehow you don't understand what i was talking about. On February, 1, you have posted  PostA  that contained link to PostB,  the link should be something like:
When you change your blog address to "iamnewblog.blogspot.com" ofcourse you will have to update your link on PostA to:
"http://iamnewblog.blogspot.com/2015/1/PostB.html" or your visitors will be directed to your old blog or even worse, they will be directed to error 404 page.

So to avoid to do this, you need to link between posts within your blog with better flexibility. All you need to do is switch to HTML editor and remove the domain part from the link.

So each time you want to publish your post, you will need to do a small detour.

You are ready to post PostA  that contains link to PostB,  the link in should be something like:

But don't publish it yet, instead switch to HTML editor.

Search for the link, in this example case:

Then delete http and domain part, in this example case that would be:
http://iamoldblog.blogspot.com
So what is left from the link will be:
"/2015/1/PostB.html"

Done, from now on that link in PostA will always points to PostB even if when the domain address is changed.

This is also useful if for some reasons you can't maintain your TLD name and it reverts back to blogspot domain. The example is this blog, if somehow i forget to renew my domain this blog will return to oneismeblog.blogspot.com, but because i use flexible links, the intenal linking between posts won't be broken even if the domain is not www.oneisme.net.
