How to become a good blogger

I am going to summarize what I have learned today about become a good blogger. Blogging is not something you can learn and master in one night, I used to think if I know the secrets and tricks how to get my blog ranked on google then I will be golden. Apparently I was wrong all this time. After reading many blogs today, and read the same thing over and over again finally I am convinced to change my way of thinking. Rather than pursuing how to get ranked on SERP (Search Engine Results Page), better concentrate on how to write a good content, and I need to learn much about this.

Back then, Page Rank was very famous and many blogs compete their SEO (Search Engine Optimization) so they get better Page Rank, but when Google decided to stop using it as variable to list a page on SERP, one by one many blogs fall to the abyss, disappear from front page of google SERP. And blogs which stays on front page only blogs that have good contents.  

We don't know when or what Google will implement in their algorithm, so rather keep trying to find a way to "defeat" their algorithm, better start to write something that won't be affected by their algorithm. As long we write something useful, I think will still get a good result on SERP even when Google decide to change their algorithm again.

You might be wondering why Google is so important for blogging, it is because Google is the only place where we can get visitors for free. Almost all of internet surfers using google to search whatever they want to find. You don't want to keep promoting your blog just to get visitors, do you? Well, it is really up to you actually, I can't stop stop you if that is your way of life.. 

Google loves quality contents, quality contents can only be written by someone who knows what they write, so rather than writing about many things without values (just like what I am doing right now) . You should start writing something that you master at, don't write something new that you don't know about, I have tried that, it was weird, really..

Spamming others to promote your latest writing is also something you must not do. People hates spammer. Most likely someone will report it and that would be bad for your blog, and your future, because they will have bad impression about you. 

A good blogger, unlike me, is also good problem solver, so if you are writing a post, please make sure you are solving at least a problem related what you have discussed on that post. That way, people who visits your blog gain something from your writing, and they might return because they like your idea on solving problem. 

Unfortunately there is no shortcut to be a good blogger, we will need to walk in process to be there. But as long you keep writing and don't do something that you hate if someone doing it to you, I am sure you will be there soon enough, even without you realising.
